Welcome to the Carnival!

Hooray!

It's time for the 16th Homeschooled Kids Carnival!

A carnival is a fun collection of all kinds of different things, and this carnival is no different, except that instead of cool booths to visit, we have student blogs!

Everyone likes having blog visitors, so leave a comment as you travel from blog to blog today.  When you find a blog you really like, be sure to visit it again another day!  To get started, let's find out what some homeschooled students have been learning.

---  At "Story Girl" you can find out about one of the world's most amazing people,
     Leonardo da Vinci.
---  At "Musings of the King's Daughter" you can read some background on
freedom in America and decide if you think the New World was free.
---  At "Mental Weight" you can see Isaiah's colorful flower dissection.
---  At "Alice's Bunny Blog" you can find out who Alice is and read about
     a very cool school day.

Everyone knows that carnivals have yummy treats.    So do these posts:

--  "Kitten's Purring" presents The Return of Homemade Cookie Dough.
--  "Inside Sniper's Mind" offers a look at Captain Jinx's apple crisp and blackberry cobbler.

Delicious!

Our carnival doesn't have pig racing (check out that picture on the right!)  but we do have cool posts on living things.

---  "Farm Girl Brainwaves" has some very
      cute chicks to show off.
---  At "My Secret Garden" you'll find
      grasshoppers hopping around.
---  "Intellectual Ramblings" can catch you up
on some pretty incredible pet history.
---  Stop by "Stable Days" for an awesome
      family farm trip.

Carnivals are also for showing off unique creations.  (The dahlia on the left was shown in San Diego.)  We have very imaginative creations at our blog carnival, too!

---   At "Elijah's Blog" you can find a poetic post entitled "The Rain Storm."
---  "Tayler's Adventures" shares an exciting story called "Chicken Stew."
---  "Vienna's Corner of the World" displays some very artistic "Pictures!"
---   At "Alex and Leperdy" you can find a cool graphic design with an
      Outer Space theme.

To wrap up your carnival experience, we have some clever posts that will make you smile!

---  "The blog for wierd people"
explains Why I don't like math.
---  "Nate's Nook" explains
       More About that Fact.
---  "The DisKids" tell all about
       Disneyland's Jungle Cruise.
---  At "Let's Call it a Journey" you'll
      find Another loooong Post
      It's a good one, too!

Congratulations to all you student bloggers!  Great work
